We are are an intimate family run business, taking care of Local, National and European domestic removals.
We offer a complete removal service which can include packing, moving and unpacking, depending on the needs of their clients.
The removal side of the operation, is taken care of by Graham Purdy, who is actively involved in each move, and is responsible for the loading of the vehicles, and the packing side of the operation is taken care of by his wife Susan Purdy.
Susan is an expert in protective packaging, and again is actively involved in each move that requires packing, personally taking care of the fragiles.
Purdy's employ 8 porters and 6 packers, who are all warm, friendly and courteous, but above all experienced in the capacity to which they are employed.

Purdy's use fully equipped removal vehicles, and have 2 x 7.5 tonners and 2 x 3.5 jumbo (22ft) lutons in their fleet.
We also have an account with a commercial vehicle hire company, where we can hire vehicles when required.
Purdy's of Cheam also holds goods-in-transit insurance, so the clients goods are always covered against fire, theft and damage.
Last but not least 5% of each and every move is donated to St Raphaels Hospice.
Graham's younger brother Roger, was cared for by The Hospice for the last six months of his life, which was ended prematurely by a brain tumour.
